First Baby of 2020!

Baby Chase was born just before Christmas (seriously, can you imagine a more amazing Christmas gift?!) and came to me as my first newborn of 2020.

Of course we needed a couple of photos to represent the season!

Baby Chase came into the studio and slept for nearly his entire session! He woke up to eat once, then promptly went back to sleep for us, happily sleeping through the rest of his session. His Mama may also have had a little nap herself!

Before our session, I talked to Chase’s parents about their requests for his session. Chase’s Mom shared her preferences for greys and creams and navy blue. I love planning each session with both my style and the family’s preferences in mind. And the results are beautiful - I couldn’t be happier with Chase’s gallery!

I absolutely love creating digital art images and baby Chase’s gallery included two of these special images. I adore these! A big, big smile - and he even briefly opened his eyes and watched me for a few seconds before going right back to sleep.

Lastly, we included Chase’s parents in this session. I hope Chase looks back on these photos when he’s older with big smiles as he sees how tiny he once was and how very loved he is!
